Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapies

Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapies

In order to get you back on your feet after an injury, illness, or surgery, your physician may recommend rehabilitation. Bethesda Rehab & Senior Care has the capability of providing physical, occupational, and speech rehab therapies as often as five days a week.

Physical therapy can improve your mobility, strength, flexibility, coordination, endurance, and even work to reduce pain.

Occupational therapy focuses on self-care skills and training to help you achieve successful completion of activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Speech-language pathology therapies aim to optimize your ability to communicate and swallow, improving your quality of life.
Our integrated rehab and therapy programs address a wide range of orthopedic, neurological, and other physical conditions, disabilities, and diseases, including:
  • Joint replacement
  • Neuro-muscular diseases
  • Cardiac and pulmonary conditions
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Stroke
  • Dysphagia
  • Fractures
  • Post-surgical complications
Our team of speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapy practitioners are here to provide you with a comprehensive evaluation and work collaboratively with you and your family to establish an appropriate, individualized treatment plan to address your personal goals and needs.

Bethesda’s therapy teams also develop and implement health and wellness programs to prevent injuries, maintain physical function, and improve the safety of our residents.
