Capital Campaign

For 109 years, Bethesda has provided Chicago seniors and their families with the highest level of care and compassion. Our short-term rehabilitation programs embody our person-centered philosophy of care. Our individualized approach to physical, occupational, and speech therapies focuses on getting you healed and back home as fast as possible. Now, we want to transform your rehab experience and make your short stays with us even more comfortable.

On October 14, 2015, we officially broke ground on our new Rehabilitation Expansion Project. This exciting addition to and renovation of the east wing of our facility will include a 2,000 square foot state-of-the-art therapy gym, 16 private patient rooms with private bathrooms, a new separate entrance and welcome center, and convenient on-site parking.

We're expanding because we think that you, Mom, and Dad deserve to feel right at home during your recovery. We know that older adults who are trying to restore their health and function to return home require an environment that promotes all aspects of healing- physical, emotional, spiritual.

In order to continue our mission and meet these growing needs, we need your help! We expect to open our new Rehab Wing in the fall of 2016, but we cannot get there without the support of our friends and generous donors.

Our goal is to raise $104,000 by 2018 to offset the project costs and facilitate the enhancement of our services. We are pleased to announce that so far, we have raised $87,457 towards our goal! We are so grateful to our Campaign donors and generous grant makers for their support.

As we continue to plan for the future, we ask you to join us in elevating our short-term and post-acute rehab to an even higher pinnacle of excellence. With your support, Bethesda can continue to set the industry standard for senior care for another 100 years.
